Azerbaijan reports shelling of three villages in conflict zone
The positions of Azerbaijani militaries were shelled for 26 times in the Karabakh conflict zone; three border villages got under fire, the country's Ministry of Defence (MoD) has reported today.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the morning on February 25, Azerbaijan counted 25 shelling attacks on its positions in the Karabakh conflict zone.
"During the last 24 hours, units of the Armed Forces of Armenia violated the ceasefire regime in different sections of the frontline for 26 times," the Azerbaijani MoD reported on its website today. The Azerbaijani positions stationed in the villages of Gaimagly, Mezem and Bala Djafarli in the Gazakh District and on nameless heights in the Gadabay District, were shelled from the territory of Armenia; the shelling was also delivered from the territories bordering on Armenia, the MoD has specified.
As of 8:50 a.m. Moscow time today, there were no comments on the websites of the MoDs of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh regarding the statement of the Azerbaijani MoD.
