NKR accuses Azerbaijan of 180 shelling attacks within a week

Azerbaijani soldiers fired 1300 shots at the positions of the Defence Army of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), the Ministry of Defence (MoD) has reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 6-12, the MoD of the unrecognized NKR counted 170 incidents of shelling of its positions.

On January 13-19, the Azerbaijani side violated the truce for 180 times, the correspondent of the "Caucasian Knot" quotes the message of the NKR's MoD, which notes that only small firearms were used for shelling.

By 2:30 p.m. Moscow time on January 19, The Azerbaijani MoD did not respond to the above message on its website. However, the Azerbaijani party of the Karabakh conflict counts the shelling attacks on its positions on the daily basis. According to the calculations of the "Caucasian Knot", on January 13-19, the Azerbaijani MoD recorded a total of 181 such attacks. Only in the past 24 days there were 26 such attacks, the MoD asserts.
