Azerbaijan accuses Armenia of 26 cases of shelling

On the past day, the positions of the Azerbaijani army were shelled, including in two villages, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for Azerbaijan reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 15, Azerbaijan reported 30 cases of shelling of its positions over a day.

Over the day from January 15 to 16, the ceasefire regime in the conflict zone was violated 26 times, the Azerbaijani MoD reports on its website today.

According to the Azerbaijani MoD, the positions of the Azerbaijani army in the villages of Gaimagly and Mezem in the Gazakh District and on the nameless heights in the Gadabay District were shelled.

At 9:10 a.m. Moscow time of today, the Ministries of Defence for Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh have not posted on their websites any information regarding the statement voiced by the Azerbaijani MoD.
