Azerbaijan counts 24 shelling attacks within 24 hours

The positions of the Azerbaijani Army in the conflict zone were shelled from the "occupied territories," the country's Ministry of Defence (MoD) has stated today. At the same time, it did not report any ceasefire violations on the border with Armenia.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 4, Azerbaijan declared 27 shelling attacks committed by Armenia. In its turn, the MoD of Nagorno-Karabakh counted 120 attacks from the Azerbaijani side committed in the period from November 25 to December 1, 2018.

"Within the last 24 hours, the units of the Armenian Armed Forces violated the ceasefire regime in different sections of the frontline for 24 times," the website of the MoD of Azerbaijan has reported today.

According to the MoD, the shelling was conducted from the positions located near the territories that Azerbaijan treats as its occupied ones – from the villages of the Terter, Agdam, Fizuli, Jebrail, Goranboy and Khojavand Districts.
