Azerbaijan claims shelling in four villages

Over the past day, the positions of the Azerbaijani army were shelled 27 times, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for Azerbaijan reports.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 20, Azerbaijan claimed 30 cases of shelling in the conflict zone. In its turn, the Ministry of Defence for Nagorno-Karabakh registered 80 attacks on its positions from the Azerbaijani side in the period from November 11 to 17.

"Over the past day, units of the Armenian armed forces 27 times violated the ceasefire regime in different directions of the front," reports today the website of the Azerbaijani MoD.

According to the Azerbaijani side, on November 20-21, the positions of the Azerbaijani army were shelled in the villages of Alibeili, Agdam, and Garalar in the Tovuz District and in the village of Geyali in the Gedabek District, bordering Armenia.

By 9:05 a.m. of today, on their official websites, the Ministries of Defence for Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh have not yet commented on the statement voiced by the Azerbaijani MoD.
