In the 3rd quarter of 2018, in Chechnya, 13 people fell victim to armed conflict
In the period from July 1 to September 1, 2018, at least 13 people fell victim to the armed conflict in Chechnya. Of them, eight were killed and other five were wounded. All the killed people were suspected militants, and all the wounded were law enforcers.
In July, no one fell victim to the armed conflict in Chechnya. In August, 10 people fell victim in the republic. Of them, five were killed and other five were wounded. As a result of a series of attacks on policemen, five suspected members of the armed underground were killed, and five law enforcers were wounded. In September, there were three victims. All of them were militants killed in armed clashes.

In 2016, in Chechnya, at least 43 people fell victim to the ongoing armed conflict in Northern Caucasus. Of them, at least 27 were killed and other 16 were injured. In 2015, in Chechnya, at least 30 people fell victim to the ongoing armed conflict in Northern Caucasus. Of them, at least 14 were killed and other 16 were wounded.
