In August 2018, 12 people fell victim to armed conflict in Northern Caucasus

In August 2018, at least 12 people fell victim to the ongoing armed conflict in Northern Caucasus. Of them, five were killed and other seven were wounded. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.

In August 2018, in Chechnya, 10 people fell victim to the armed conflict injured. Of them, five were killed and other five were injured. As a result of a series of attacks on policemen, five suspected members of the armed underground were killed and five law enforcers were injured.

In Dagestan, two law enforcers got injuries as a result of an attack of an unidentified man on a police patrol.

In August 2018, in Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, North Ossetia-Alania, and in the Stavropol Territory, no victims to the armed conflict were registered.
