In the 1st quarter of 2018, two persons fell victim to armed conflict in Ingushetia

In the period from January 1 to March 31, 2018, in Ingushetia, at least two persons were killed in the armed conflict. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.

Both killed were suspected members of the armed underground.

The "Caucasian Knot" notes that the provided statistics cannot reflect the number of victims with the 100 percent accuracy. Not all information is included in the news reports. It is not always possible to check the reliability of the statements voiced by the law enforcement bodies. Besides, new facts about the events of the reporting period become often known after the statistics had been already published on the "Caucasian Knot".

In 2017, at least 24 people fell victim to the armed conflict in Ingushetia. Of them, 11 were killed and 13 others were wounded.

In 2016, in Ingushetia, 19 victims to the armed conflict were reported, including 15 killed and 4 were injured.

In 2015, at least 21 people fell victim to the armed conflict in the republic. Of them, 16 were killed and other five were injured.

In 2014, at least 37 victims to the armed conflict were registered in Ingushetia, including 21 killed and 16 wounded. In 2013, at least 94 people fell victims to the armed conflict. Of them, 36 were killed and other 58 were injured.

    Lawyer Timur Idalov, sentenced for threatening a public prosecutor, appealed to the judge of the Khimki City Court, pointing out the violation of the norms of criminal procedure law in the decisions on his case.
