Azerbaijan claims shelling of a village in conflict zone
Over a day, positions of the Azerbaijani army, including in the village of Zamanly, were shelled 28 times in the Karabakh conflict zone, reports today the Ministry of Defence for Azerbaijan.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 24, Azerbaijan registered 30 cases of shelling from Armenia over a day. A day earlier, the Ministry of Defence for Nagorno-Karabakh reported the death of its soldier as a result of a shot from the Azerbaijani positions.
On October 24-25, Azerbaijan registered 28 cases of shelling in the conflict zone. "The positions of the Azerbaijani army in the village of Zamanly and on nameless heights in the territory of the Gadabay District were shelled," reports the website of the Azerbaijani MoD.
By 9:00 a.m. Moscow time of today, the Ministries of Defence for Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh have not commented on the information on their websites. Earlier, the Nagorno-Karabakh MoD claimed 80 cases of shelling from the Azerbaijani side in the week from October 14 to 20.
