Azerbaijan claims 30 bombardments in conflict zone

The positions of the Azerbaijani Army in the Karabakh conflict zone were shelled at different sections of the frontline, including the territories "near the occupied villages," the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has reported today.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 22, Azerbaijan declared 29 shelling episodes from Armenia during the past 24 hours. On the same day, the MoD of Nagorno-Karabakh blamed Azerbaijan for the death of its soldier, saying that he was mortally wounded as a result of a shot from Azerbaijani positions.

On October 23-24, Azerbaijan counted 30 attacks on its troops in the conflict zone. The positions of the Azerbaijani Army were shelled from the villages of the Terter, Agdam, Fizuli, Djebrail, Goranboy and Khojavand Districts, the website of the MoD of Azerbaijan has reported today.

Today, as of 8:55 a.m. Moscow time, the websites of the MoDs of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh had no information about the above statement of their Azeri counterpart. Earlier, the MoD of Nagorno-Karabakh announced 80 fire attacks committed by the Azerbaijani party during the week of October 14-20.
