Ramzan Kadyrov issues instructions to arrange border with Ingushetia

Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov has issued instructions to build roads on the border with Ingushetia. He has noted that the agreement on the Chechen-Ingush border has entered into force and that any attempts to "drive a wedge" between the Ingush and the Chechen people are useless.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 4, the leader of Chechnya signed the law defining the border with Ingushetia, and on October 16, the Chechen authorities announced that the law had come in force.

"On September 26, in Magas, we together with Yunus-Bek Evkurov, the leader of the Republic of Ingushetia, signed the historic document ... We spoke about construction and maintenance of roads in the border areas. That will improve the facilities of cultural heritage," the leader of Chechnya wrote in the social network "VKontakte".

Ramzan Kadyrov has emphasized that the border is drawn between two subjects, and not fraternal nations. "The Chechens were, are and will remain brothers of the Ingush people, despite efforts of some individuals," the Chechen leader has added.

Let us remind you that on October 4, the Constitutional Court of Ingushetia declared that the border agreement could not be considered by the Ingush parliament, since such issues should be resolved through a referendum.
