Head of administration killed in Chechnya
Unknown attackers shot dead the head of administration in Chechen-Aul, Grozny district, on the night of 25 October, a source with the republic's Internal Affairs Ministry told Caucasian Knot's correspondent.
"Umar Khatsiyev, local head of administration was killed in Chechen-Aul last night. According to the information available, two unidentified persons armed with automatic weapons broke into Khatsiev's house and shot him dead in the presence of his entire family," the officer of Chechnya's Internal Affairs Ministry said. "The motives of this crime and the personalities of the murderers have not yet been established."
