A resident of Kabardino-Balkaria disappears after clashes, his relatives report

Since the morning on September 19, relatives of Rashid Pugoev from Prokhladny cannot contact him, reports a local group in Instagram. Users of the social network have expressed the opinion that the disappearance of the young man may be related to the conflict between Kabardian and Balkar people in the village of Kendelen.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 18, residents of the Balkar village of Kendelen did not let participants of the equestrian procession organized in memory of the 310th anniversary of the Kanjali Battle to pass through the village. The refusal provoked clashes. On September 19, clashes between activists and law enforcers took place in the vicinity of Kendelen, in the village of Zayukovo, and at a checkpoint of the road-and-patrol service (known as DPS) in the town of Baksan. According to the activists, as a result of the clash with the police, 45 people were hospitalized and the number of detainees reached 120 people.

In the morning on September 19, Rashid Pugoev left the house and never returned, reports the group "chp.nalchik" in Instagram.

Users of the social network suspect that the disappearance of the young man is connected with a mass fight, which occurred in the village of Kendelen on September 18-19, and with the clashes that occurred later, the "AIF-Northern Caucasus" reports today.

"Did he accidentally participate in recent events?" user aa_aa719 asked the question in the comments under the message posted on Instagram. "The mother is crying. She should address the law enforcement bodies of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR). After all, many guys were taken away to the police," also notes user _zakon_veinaha_.
