Three persons killed in a special operation in Dagestan

During a shootout which occurred in the Talgi village not far from the Karabudakhkent District, law enforcers eliminated a group of militants, the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that early this morning, the law enforcement bodies reported on carrying out a special operation in the Buynaksk and Karabudakhkent Districts of Dagestan.

During the special operation in the area of the Talgi village, law enforcers encountered three militants who refused to lay down their arms, entered a shootout with the law enforcers, and were killed, the RIA "Novosti" reports with reference to the NAC's information centre.

"When offered to surrender to the authorities, a group of militants opened fire from automatic weapons. Fighters of the Russian FSB special forces neutralized the militants," the RIA "Novosti" quotes the NAC as reporting.

According to the NAC, at the place of the shootout in the Karabudakhkent District, the law enforcers found weapons and ammunition. No civilians and law enforcers suffered, the NAC reported.
