Mine kills three in Chechnya
Five local residents triggered a mine in Kharachoi, Vedeno district. A woman and two adolescents died, and two men sustained serious wounds.
Besides, a checkpoint on the outskirts of Samashki, Achkhoi-Martan district, was fired at resulting in three contract servicemen wounded. The attackers managed to escape. The shooting involved members of armed groups of field commander Doka Umarov according to preliminary information, Radio Liberty says.
