Law enforcers tell about interconnection of attack series in Chechnya

A militant tried to undermine himself at the DPS (road-and-patrol service) in the village of Mesker-Yurt in the Shali District, but he survived, and no policeman was hurt, law enforcement sources have stated.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today two men attacked a police station in the Shali District with knives, wounded two policemen and were killed. In Grozny, law enforcers shot dead the driver, who had knocked down three policemen with his car; the child that was in the car also perished.

The today's attacks on policemen in Chechnya are the first in the republic within the last three months. The responsibility for them has been claimed by the IS.

Another attack on law enforcers was committed in the Shali District of Chechnya, where a suicide bomber tried to blow up a DPS post.

Law enforcers believe that all the today's attacks are interlinked.

The militant, who committed a self-explosion in Mesker-Yurt, has survived, the "Interfax" has confirmed with reference to its law enforcement source.
