Six militants' hideouts found in Chechnya since the start of the year
The detection of a hideout with weapons and ammunition, reported by Chechen law enforcers on August 11, became the sixth one in 2018 in this region.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 11, in the outskirt of the Chechen village of Kalaus, a hideout with Kalashnikov submachine guns and cartridges to them was neutralized.
Earlier, according to the calculations of the "Caucasian Knot", five such hideouts were found in Chechnya. Three of them were found in the mountainous Itum-Kali District of Chechnya, and one in an abandoned building near the railway station in Grozny.
In still another one, supposedly, made ten years ago, law enforcers found, in particular, an anti-tank missile complex and a projectile for the "Smerch" (Whirlwind) multiple-launch missile system.
