Kadyrov enters poetic battle with Semyon Slepakov

The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, in response to the song about his failure as the head coach of the Russian national football team, invited its author Semyon Slepakov to Chechnya, accompanying the post in social networks by a response verse.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Semyon Slepakov, a singer and a humorist posted a satirical song on the YouTube about Kadyrov's failure of as the head coach of the Russian national football team. According to the singer, even the tough methods practiced in Chechnya cannot help the team at the FIFA World Cup.

Kadyrov said that he laughed when he watched the video clip, but also made a remark. "I liked the Semyon's, and I sincerely laughed. However, my word is harder than stone, not cheese," he wrote in the social network "VKontakte".

Also, the head of Chechnya has disagreed with the song's final. He believes that the team led by him cannot lose. "This is wrong. I invite Semyon Slepakov to Grozny; together we'll record a new hit," Kadyrov said, noting that "Slepakov has a good sense of humour, since he is a native of the Caucasus."

The head of Chechnya also wished Russian footballers a victory in the World Cup.

Earlier, Djambulat Umarov, the Chechen Minister for National Policy, External Relations, Press and Information, demanded from Slepakov to apologize for the song, treating it as "an unsuccessful pearl", written without the head of Chechnya's permit.
