In Dagestan, Amir's relatives complain about arbitrariness of law enforcers

Magomedamin Vagabov, a resident of the Gubden village, was arrested on a fabricated charge and defamed himself under torture, stated his father Khabib Vagabov. The man explained the persecution of his son by a conflict with a local law enforcer and blood ties with two members of the armed underground. After the arrest of Magomedamin Vagabov, law enforcers searched his father's house and planted grenades into a pot, stated Khadizhat Vagabova, a grandmother of the arrested man.

According to Khabib Vagabov, law enforcers put pressure on him because of his brother Magomednasyr Vagabov and second cousin Magomedali Vagabov.

In 2010, the Gubden grouping acted in the Karabudakhkent District of Dagestan, and it was considered the most active part of the underground in the republic. Its leader Magomedali Vagabov (Amir Seyfullah Abu Abdullah) was killed in a special operation in August 2010.

Khabib Vagabov told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that his 22-year-old son Magomedamin was not included in the police prevention registration list, but in January 2018, he was detained and accused of storing ammunition. The father believes the ammunition was planted for the young man.

According to advocate Patimat Utsumieva, Magomedamin complained about being tortured by electric current after his detention. The advocate has noted that all complaints about torture are ignored.

Patimat Utsumieva believes that her client's case is an example for simulation of intensive fight against terrorism.
