NKR accuses Azerbaijan of 150 bombardments within a week

During May 20-26, Azerbaijani militaries repeatedly violated the cease-fire regime by making more than 1500 shots at the positions of the Defence Army of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of the NKR has stated.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 13-19, the NKR fixed 250 cases of ceasefire violation by the Azerbaijani party.

On May 20, Adil Tatarov, an Azerbaijani serviceman, was killed on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. The Azeri MoD accused the Armenian party of the incident and threatened to avenge the deceased soldier. The activation of engineering works by the Azerbaijani party at the border may trigger shootings and undesirable losses, the MoD of Armenia has stated in response.

Over the past week, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces shelled the positions of the Defence Army for a total of 150 times, the NKR's MoD has stated today.

"The Azerbaijani party made over 1500 shots from various small arms at the positions of the Defence Army," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent quotes the press service of the NKR's MoD.
