Special troop fighter wounded in CTO in Derbent
The special troop fighter, wounded in the course of the counterterrorist operation (CTO) held in the city of Derbent, was taken to hospital by a helicopter, a source has stated.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today the CTO regime was introduced in the Derbent District. Initially, it was reported about four killed militants. Later, the Russian National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) announced nine casualties, all militants. According to the NAC, they had planned to commit a terror act during May holidays.
The above special troop fighter was slightly wounded in the shootout, the "Interfax" reports with reference to its source.
