HALO Trust sappers killed by explosion in Nagorno-Karabakh

Three people were killed and two others wounded, when the car of the HALO Trust international organization got on a mine and blew up in Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), a source said.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the humanitarian HALO Trust organization was raising, together with the ONEArmenia, funds for demining a field near the village of Arar, Kashatag District of the NKR.

The HALO Trust's car got blown up today. "Three people were killed and two were wounded; their surnames and citizenship are being clarified," the "Interfax" quotes its source.

The HALO Trust is a British charitable and American non-profit organization dealing with neutralizing landmines and unexploded ordnances that may pose danger to the population. It is fundraising in the NKR within the campaign "Safe Steps for Karabakh People".
