Four Dagestani natives are on the list of richest people in the world

In 2017, according to the Forbes, the list of the richest people in the world included the natives of Dagestan Leonid Mikhelson, Suleiman Kerimov, Gavriil Yushvaev and Ziyavudin Magomedov.

In the 2017 Forbes list of the global richest people, Leonid Mikhelson takes the 64th position with a fortune of 18 billion US dollars.

Suleiman Kerimov (6.4 billion US dollars) keeps the 20th place in the list of Russia's richest people; Gavriil Yushvaev (1.4 billion US dollars) is in the 73rd place; and Ziyavudin Magomedov (1.2 billion US dollars) is in the 79th position, the Forbes reported on March 6.

Leonid Mikhelson was born in Kaspiysk, Suleiman Kerimov is a native of Derbent, while Gavriil Yushvaev and Ziyavudin Magomedov are natives of Makhachkala, the Makhachkala website "mkala.org" recalled on March 11.

The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported that Suleiman Kerimov was detained in France on November 20, 2017, and charged with laundering of the money obtained as a result of tax evasion.
