Moscow marchers blame authorities for Nemtsov's murder
Russian authorities are responsible for non-preventing the murder of the politician Boris Nemtsov; and the public should know the customer of this murder, the participants of the today's march in Moscow have stated.
Boris Nemtsov was shot dead on February 27, 2015, in Moscow. On July 13, 2017, the court sentenced five natives of Chechnya, accused of killing Boris Nemtsov.
The action in memory of Boris Nemtsov in Moscow has gathered 30,000 people, Ilya Yashin, a politician and one of the organizers of the march, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
"The investigation into the murder of Boris Nemtsov was conducted in the same way as the investigation into other high-profile cases, even if at some point real professionals worked, they were hampered by engaged persons," Alexander Cherkasov, the chairman of the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial", told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
According to his version, in the end, the criminal case, in fact, collapsed. "Obvious things were not investigated and were not the subject of investigators' interest," Mr Cherkasov is sure.
"What is happening in Moscow is happening in the Caucasus," said Dmitry Shkapov, an activist of the "Memorial" movement, and gave the case against Oyub Titiev as an example. "The case is obviously fabricated: Oyub is a threat for Chechen authorities. It's perfectly clear that the case against him is falsified," Mr Shkapov expressed his confidence in his comment to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
