Kuban activists report violations before presidential election

In Krasnodar, an installed campaign banner with the Vladimir Putin's phases violates the electoral legislation. This was stated by Evgeny Vitishko, the leader of the regional branch of the "Yabloko" Party. A Navalny's office in Krasnodar has reported that employees of a local enterprise are being force to come to the presidential election.

A banner reading: "Siberian character is one of the Russia's main resources!" signed by V. V. Putin, appeared in Krasnodar at the intersection of Labour Glory and Blagoev Streets, reports Evgeny Vitishko, the leader of the Kuban branch of the "Yabloko" Party.

"I treat the banner as pre-election campaigning for one of the candidates," he said. Since the banner is paid not by the election fund of the presidential candidate, but by a construction company, it violates electoral legislation, Evgeny Vitishko wrote on his Facebook page on February 2. He has noted that he filed complaints to the Election Commission for the Krasnodar Territory and the Krasnodar Territorial Election Commission (TEC).

On February 2, activists from the Navalny's office in Krasnodar reported that after a protest rally held on January 28, they every day received information from the residents of the region about violations of the electoral legislation. So, according to the activists, top managers of the Krasnodar regional department for trunk oil pipelines of Joint-Stock Company (JSC) "Chernomortransneft" instructed chiefs of units to ensure the maximum appearance of employees at the presidential election.

"There is even a clause dedicated to 'the organization of control over the appearance of employees at polling stations', and this is a gross violation of the Russia's electoral legislation," noted the community "Navalny's Team. Krasnodar" in the social network VKontakte.
