Three-year-old Dagestani girl returned from Middle East

On December 20, the child found in Iraq, whose parents had perished, was brought to Grozny and handed over to her relatives.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 19, the authorities of Chechnya stated that they had found other 13 women and 28 children from Russia in the refugee camp in Mosul. Among them, a three-year-old girl, a cousin of the girls from Dagestan earlier brought home; her parents had been killed "by American bombs," as Ramzan Kadyrov has specified.

On December 20, the Dagestani girl was brought by plane to Grozny. On December 18, she was three years old; and on the same day the Iraqi court issued her a permit to return to Russia, the TASS reported on December 20.

"I lost my two sons, but my granddaughters were returned to me," the girl's grandfather has shared his joy. He explained that his elder son's daughters were returned home in August. "It's difficult to tell what I feel, I'm just happy," the TASS quotes him as saying.

According to the TASS, the girl's father took his family away from Dagestan in May 2015.

The girl brought to Grozny is the first person out of another group of Russians, who will be brought from the Middle East in the near future, the "Grozny" Chechen State TV and Radio Company wrote on December 20 on its website.
