Among Russian citizens captured by the Iraqi militaries in Mosul, there are women and children from different Russian regions.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that within the last three months, about 100 children and women were brought from Iraq and Syria to Chechnya.

According to an employee of the office of the head and the government of Chechnya, negotiations are currently underway to bring other 29 women and 75 children to Grozny, including one woman-native of Chechnya, 11 women from Dagestan, as well as women from Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Tyumen, Nizhnevartovsk, and of the Volgograd, Penza, Yaroslavl Regions and Bashkiria, together with their children. All of them are kept in prison in Baghdad.

The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, has reported the forthcoming return of a large group of women and children from Iraq in his Instagram, noting that wounded and disabled people are among them.

Let us note here that the militants' widows returned from Syria and Iraq are notified about possible criminal prosecution of them in their homeland. It was already reported that law enforcers have detained three women from Dagestan, who came back from Syria.
