Woman from Argun publicly apologizes for threats to gas workers

On November 28, on air of the Chechen TV, the woman apologized to employees of gas networks for her attempt to prevent them from disconnecting gas supply because of debts.

A few days ago, social networks in Chechnya posted a video showing a woman standing near her house, demanding to leave her alone and waving a knife.

On November 28, the "Grozny" TV Channel informed that the woman was a resident of Argun Tamara Muskhadjieva; and she was trying to prevent gas workers from disconnecting her gas pipe for unpaid bills.

The TV also showed a house under construction and stated that the woman has five brothers who can help her. Employees of the "Gazprom-Mezhregiongaz-Grozny" said that her debt for supplied gas made 155,000 roubles.

The district inspector explained that she did not file a complaint against Muskhadjieva because of threats and pitying her disabled mother.

Muskhadjieva is really experiencing financial difficulties; she takes care of her elderly sick mother and child, a woman's acquaintance has explained. According to her story, the gas in Tamara's was disconnected, despite the protest.

Dokka, a resident of Grozny, believes that the woman was brought to despair.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that since November 9, gas workers have been conducting raids in Grozny aiming to collect debts.
