Dagestan faces second explosion with injuries for a day

Four hours after an explosion in a Makhachkala bathhouse with two people injured, the Ministry for Emergencies (MfE) has got the information about other four persons injured in the explosion, which completely destroyed a house in the Kayakent District of Dagestan. According to the MfE's version, in both cases, the explosions were caused by detonation of gas.

The explosion in the Makhachkala bathhouse No. 2 has occurred today at about 7:55 a.m., and two of bathhouse workers were injured.

At 12:00 a.m. Moscow time, the MfE has got a report about the explosion in the Shalasi village in the Kayakent District. As a result of the gas explosion, a single-storey house is completely destroyed and is not suitable for living. The injured people, like workers of the bathhouse, were hospitalized to the Republican Clinical Hospital in Makhachkala, reports the website of the Dagestani MfE.

Four persons were injured in the Shalasi village, including a child, the TASS reports with reference to a source from the Dagestani MfE.
