Law enforcers report detention of a suspect involved in attack on Ingush DPS block post

Out of three assailants who attacked a road-and-patrol (known as DPS) block post in Ingushetia, two were killed and one was detained. This was reported by a source from the police. Residents of Karabulak suggest that the DPS block post was attacked in revenge for the death of Magomed Miziev, who was killed at the DPS block post on October 19.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the evening on November 5, the DPS block post near the village of Yandare was attacked. A militant committed suicide bombing. Two policemen died of wounds got in the explosion. The Russian National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) reported about two killed militants. One of them was identified as local resident Magomed Murzabekov, reported an informed source on November 6.

According to the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot", the attack on the block post became the second attack on the DPS block post near the village of Yandare in less than three weeks. The previous one occurred on October 19, when the assailant was killed by policemen and identified as Magomed Miziev, a 20-year-old resident of Karabulak.

A neighbour of the family members of the suspect involved in the attack on the DPS block post believes that "the attackers wanted to take revenge for their friend Magomed Miziev."

The attack on the DPS block post involved three militants, and not two, as it had been reported earlier. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by a source from the road police (known as GIBDD) for Ingushetia. According to the source, "the third attacker was caught in a garden of a private house, where he was hiding."

The source from the GIBDD refused to disclose the information about the further fate of the third assailant and declared it was "the information for internal use only."
