One of alleged militants killed in Ingushetia identified

On November 5, during a shootout that broke out at a stationary DPS (road-and-patrol service) post in Ingushetia, a local resident Magomed Murzabekov was killed, said an informed source.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the evening on November 5, several militants attacked a DPS post stationed near the village of Yandare in the Nazran District. A suicide bomber was among them, who blew a bomb, having the power of 8 kilos in TNT (trotyl) equivalent, inside the post building. Two policemen were killed by the explosion. Other militants opened a shootout with policemen; and two militants were shot dead, the Russian National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) reports. The Nazran District was put under the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime.

One of the killed militants has been identified, the "Interfax" quotes the source as saying.

"A member of the bandit grouping that committed a daring attack on the DPS post has been identified as Magomed Murzabekov, a resident of the republic," said the source.
