Zelimkhan Bakaev's video message posted on Internet

Today, a video has been posted on the Internet, in which Chechen singer Zelimkhan Bakaev admits he stays in Germany and invites his friend from Holland to come to his place.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Zelimkhan Bakaev, a 26-year-old native of Grozny, disappeared on August 8. Singer's friends suggested that he could be kidnapped, while others associated his disappearance to a conflict in his family.

On the video which has been published today on the Internet, Zelimkhan Bakaev reports he stays in Germany in his friend's apartment. Meanwhile, he addresses his other friend Islam, who lives in Holland, and invites him to come to Germany.

The friends of Zelimkhan Bakaev doubt the authenticity of the video. They believe it has been directed by law enforcers to demonstrate the singer is alive.

However, Malika, the mother of Zelimkhan Bakaev, does not doubt the authenticity of the video.

"I do not doubt the video. It makes me furious if that is the case. I am happy about the fact he is alive and well, but I cannot believe he did that to me, it makes me furious," Malika Bakaeva told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
