Three policemen hospitalized after shelling in North Ossetia

Three policemen have been hospitalized after being shelled in North Ossetia; their lives are out of danger.

At night, unidentified attackers opened fire at the police checkpoint in the dwelling settlement of Kalininsky, Mozdok District.

Policemen fired back, but the attackers escaped, the “Interfax” reports citing the press service of the regional MIA branch.

The policemen aged 25, 26 and 38 received wounds of varying gravity. They were shelled from a firearm like the “Saiga” carbine. The "Interception" plan was introduced with the aim to search for the attackers, the TASS reports with reference to its law enforcement source.
