Residents of Chechnya come to a rally in support of Myanmar Muslims

At a rally in Grozny, Ramzan Kadyrov has condemned the global community's inaction in connection with the persecution of Muslims in Myanmar.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today, in Grozny, schools cancelled classes on the occasion of a rally organized by the local authorities in support of the Myanmar Muslims at the mosque "Heart of Chechnya".

Thousands of people take part in the rally, the "Echo Moskvy" reports.

"The methods used by soldiers and monks are more severe than actions of warders in fascist death camps. <...> The UN, the EU, regional organizations of Southeast Asia, kings, presidents, and the global media are silently watching the situation. Instead of sharp condemnation of the genocide, they are engaged in pathetic talks on humanitarian aid," the "Rosbalt" quotes Ramzan Kadyrov as saying at the rally.

It should be noted that in Chechnya itself, Muslims who do not profess the traditional concepts of Islam are subjected to persecution. The Chechen authorities openly support followers of the Sufi tariqat and forbid a dialogue with Salafis.
