Four people killed in cemetery in Armenia
Today, at 10:40 a.m., in the village of Shamiram in the Aragatsotn Region, an armed man entered a funeral hall and opened fire at people from a hunting gun, the press service of the Armenian police reported.
According to the updated information, as a result of the shooting, three persons were killed at the place. One of the wounded persons died in the republican medical centre "Armenia" in Yerevan, the press service of the Armenian Ministry for Public Health reported. Other eight people were wounded, and the condition of three of them is assessed by physicians as severe, reports the message posted on the website of the Armenian Ministry for Public Health.
After the shooting, the attacker disappeared from the cemetery. The police have identified him, and the search for him is underway. According to the law enforcement agencies, the crime was committed on domestic grounds, the "News-Armenia" reports.
