Chechen teachers complain about demand to buy diaries with "Akhmat" FC emblem

In Chechnya, educational institutions have been ordered to purchase school diaries with an emblem of the "Akhmat" FC printed in a local printing house. This was reported by school teachers and parents of schoolchildren.

According to a principal of a school in Grozny, she is to report on the purchase of diaries in the coming days.

Parents of schoolchildren claim that "it is not the first time when they face the imposition on children of various attributes and clothing made in Chechnya."

"For one period of time, they imposed badges for children, then head scarves for girls, school emblems, and uniforms ... We are fed up with such an endless insanity of leaders, but it makes no sense to oppose it," said Roza, a resident of Chechnya.

Starting from July 26, WhatsApp users also disseminate an audio record, in which a woman, allegedly a top-ranking official, talks about a meeting about school diaries held at the Ministry.

The Grozny football club has already been twice renamed. In 1946, it was called "Dynamo", in 1948, it was called "Neftyanik", and since 1958, it bore the name "Terek". Meanwhile, the "Terek" FC became not the first Chechen sports club named after Akhmat Kadyrov.
