Authors of obscene appeal to Ramazan Abdulatipov beaten up in Dagestan

According to video records posted on YouTube, residents of the village of Karagas of the Nogai District in Dagestan beat authors of an obscene video appeal to Ramazan Abdulatipov and forced them to bring the apologies. The rural jamaat has also apologized to the leader of the republic.

In the video, a young man addresses the leader of Dagestan using an obscene form and demands from him to "get off back the Nogai people nicely." He also threatens the leader of the republic with rape.

On July 12, a record with an apology from the young man was posted on YouTube. His father and mother also apologized for their son.

Meanwhile, "it is impossible to say if residents of the Karagas village voluntary took part in that humiliating procedure," the RIA "Derbent" reports.

"The mother of the troublemaker looks frightened ... We see him beaten and bloodied <...>, and that fact leads to the idea of lynching," the RIA "Derbent" notes.

The author of the material has also added that "such a transition to an out-of-law settlement of conflicts and a way of lynching should be stopped in Dagestan."

"The appearance of the recent video cannot but cause serious concern, since we are witnessing the return to Dagestan of a medieval institute of collective responsibility, which we already see in neighbouring Chechnya," the author of the material noted.
