In Sochi, two Alexei Navalny's supporters arrested for 5 days

The Central District Court of Sochi has sentenced Alexei Bychkov and Vitaly Buchenkov to administrative arrest for participation in an anticorruption rally. It took ten minutes from the Court to pronounce the decision to arrest both activists, and no people were allowed to attend the court hearing.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 12, the action held in Sochi by Alexei Navalny's supporters was attended by about 100 people. Of them, about 50 were detained.

The sentenced activists were not allowed to examine the case materials, reports activist Irina Barkhatova. On June 13, the court fined her 20,000 roubles for organizing an unsanctioned action.

On June 12, many cities of Russia, including in the south of the country, hosted actions of oppositionist Alexei Navalny's supporters. In Krasnodar, participants of the rally demanded the resignation of Vladimir Putin and Dmitry Medvedev and admission of Alexei Navalny to the presidential election in 2018.
