Power agents were searching for bomb at Makhachkala school and mosque

Today, policemen came to the "Tangyim" mosque to check a message about the bomb allegedly planted at School No. 15, located in the same General Omarov Street, said parishioners. Officially, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) did not confirm the information about the check in the mosque.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 19, power agents detained parishioners of the mosque in Omarov Street and the team of the American TV Channel "PBS NewsHour" in Makhachkala. Parishioners of this mosque also reported mass detentions on March 25.

The policemen, who checked the school because of an anonymous telephone call, came to the Tangyim mosque after the lunch prayer. They went around the building with a service dog, drove all the people out of the mosque, including the Imam, and then came inside.

They spent more than two hours in the building; then lifted the cordon and left.

Eventually, the message about the bomb planted at the school turned out to be false. No information about any detained mosque parishioners is available.
