Russia and Armenia agree on extradition of Valery Permyakov

Valery Permyakov, a Russian soldier, sentenced to life imprisonment for killing seven Avetisyan family members in Gyumri, will serve his sentence in his homeland, reports the Armenian Ministry of Justice (MoJ).

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 3, the Russian Ministry of Justice confirmed having the talks with Armenia on the extradition of Valery Permyakov, and on May 4, the Russian court found the verdict pronounced against the Russian soldier to be just.

"The decision of the Russian court guarantees unconditional and complete execution of the sentence of Russian citizen Valery Permyakov," reported the Armenian MoJ as quoted by the "Newsarmenia.am".

Let us remind you that relatives of the Avetisyan family members were refused in filing a civil suit against Russia concerning compensation for moral damage.
