In Makhachkala, two persons injured in grenade explosion

A grenade explosion has occurred near the cafe "Golden Turkish Coffee Pot" in Gamidov Avenue. An unidentified man threw a grenade and disappeared. All the police squads are engaged in search for him.

As a result of the explosion of the improvised explosive device (IED), two men were injured, and they were brought to the hospital. No casualties are reported.

In Makhachkala, the "Siren" plan has been announced, and the police are looking for the suspect who fled in a car.

The law enforcement agencies mention a dispute of economic entities as the main version of the incident.

One of the men wounded in the explosion at the cafe "Golden Turkish Coffee Pot" is Magomed Rashidov, the assistant to the plenipotentiary representative of Dagestan in the StavropolTerritory and the leader of the regional national and cultural autonomy of the peoples of Dagestan in the resorts of Caucasian Mineral Waters, the newspaper "Chernovik" reports. The edition has also noted that Magomed Rashidov is a close friend of Sagid Murtazaliev, the former chief of the Russian Pension Fund for Dagestan.
