Man killed in shootout in Dagestan

A resident of the village of Trisanchi of the Dakhadaev District of Dagestan was killed when he rendered resistance in the village of Nadezhka in the Karabudakhkent District of the republic. This was reported by law enforcers.

According to a source from the law enforcement agencies, in the village of Nadezhka, law enforcers were fired while they tried to verify an ID of a 31-year-old man. "The criminal was killed by return fire, and none of the law enforcers was injured," the source reported.

The killed man has been identified as a resident of the village of Trisanchi of the Dakhadaev District of Dagestan. According to the law enforcement agencies, the killed suspect was a member of the armed underground, the RIA "Dagestan" reports with reference to a source from the law enforcement agencies.
