Authorities and law enforcers disclose details of grenade explosion in Agvali

In a computer club, a pupil of a Dagestani school handed over to his classmate a grenade found on the outskirts of the village. However, the boy dropped it, and an explosion occurred. This was reported by the Dagestani Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 24, an explosion occurred in a computer club in the village of Agvali, where pupils of the local school stayed. According to investigators, the children found a grenade and it exploded. As a result of the explosion, one child was killed, and five other children and five adult men were injured. According to physicians, three injured persons, including a 10-year-old child, are in serious condition, while the rest were slightly injured.

According to the Dagestani MIA, on April 24, near the GadirinkaRiver on the outskirts of the Agvali village, a child, born in 2003, found a grenade of an unidentified sample and brought it to a computer room.

The boy handed the grenade over to his classmate. The grenade fell down from his hands and rolled under the table where the explosion occurred, the website of the Dagestani MIA reported on April 24.

According to the updated information released on April 24 by the Dagestani Ministry of Education and Science, the pupil of the seventh form, who found the explosive device during his walk, "did not understand what it was and brought it to show his friends." However, while he was handing over the grenade from hands to hands, it sparkled and frightened the children, and they threw it aside.

At the moment when the children were playing with the grenade, several adult men stayed in the same room with them. However, according to the preliminary information, for some reason they did not attempt to take a dangerous item from the schoolchildren, the "Interfax" reports with reference to Ramazan Jafarov, Deputy Prime Minister of Dagestan.
