All militants killed at attack in Chechnya identified as Naurskaya residents

The six militants killed on March 24, during the attack on the checkpoint of the “Rosgvardia”, had lived in the village of Naurskaya, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Chechnya has reported. The families of the deceased servicemen will be granted material help, said the spokesman of the “Rosgvardia”.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 24, an attack was committed on the checkpoint of the military camp of the “Natsgvardia” (National Guard of Russia). Six of the attackers were killed, and two managed to escape. Six servicemen were also killed; and three others were wounded.

All the six killed militants "lived in Naurskaya and were in relative or friendly relations," said a MIA source.

Three of them have been identified as Muridov brothers, natives of Nurskaya, three others were natives of the Rostov and Volgograd Regions – Zakaraev, Akbulatov and Musaliev.

"These are young people, the oldest was 27 years old," said the source.

All the perished and wounded servicemen will be presented to state awards, said the spokesman of the republic’s department of the “Rosgvardia”.
