At trial, prosecutor recognizes involvement of Gasanguseinov brothers in armed underground as unproved

During the consideration of the complaint filed by Murtazali Gasanguseinov, the father of the killed shepherds, the prosecutor has announced that the verification confirmed the complainant's version about the lack of evidence proving the connections of the killed men with militants. The prosecutor supported the position of investigators, who decided not to consider the possibility of instituting a criminal case on the brothers' murder. However, advocates of the Gasanguseinov father have succeeded in convincing the court that the investigators were to open the criminal case on the fact of murder.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Nabi and Gasangusein Gasanguseinov from the village of Goor-Khindakh were killed on August 23, 2016. Law enforcers claimed that the brothers were militants. Relatives of the killed brothers insist that they were ordinary shepherds.

Today, the main part of the consideration of the complaint has been considered under the dispute of the parties as to whether the Murtazali Gasanguseinov's complaint could be an excuse for instituting a separate case on the murder of his sons.

The investigators are insisting that the rigorous verification under the Murtazali Gasanguseinov's complaint is underway. In particular, the investigators went to the area of the murder and called Murtazali Gasanguseinov for questionings, but he failed to come. Despite that, the final decision concerning the possibility of investigation into the deaths of the brothers under the article of "murder" has not yet been made.
