Militants killed in January in Chechnya buried in nameless graves
The bodies of the militants, killed on January 11 in the Kurchaloi District of Chechnya and on January 30 in the city of Shali, have been buried into unmarked graves in the cemetery near Grozny, local residents report. Power agents followed the law on burial of terrorists.
The burial of several militants killed during two special operations in January, was held on March 16 in one of the cemeteries of the Grozny District of Chechnya.
Residents of neighbouring dwelling settlements say that the cemetery was used earlier for burying killed militants.
Relatives of the killed militants express their discontent with the fact that power agents refuse to give them out the bodies for burial according to Muslim customs.
The relatives of the young men, killed in December 2016 and in January 2017 in Grozny and elsewhere, do not know what happened to the bodies of their relatives, said an employee of one of the public organizations of Chechnya, who introduced himself as Aslan.
The bodies of militants killed on December 17-18, 2016, in the Chechen capital were also not given out to their families. Relatives later learnt that they had been buried in nameless graves near Grozny.
