Ayub Tuntuev denies his involvement in attack on Pskov paratroopers in Chechnya

In Rostov-on-Don, at the first court hearing in the case of an attack on soldiers in 2000 in the Argun Gorge, Ayub Tuntuev, a former agent of the security service of the Chechen president, pleaded not guilty. According to the defendant, the case against him was fabricated.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in 2016, it became known that Ayub Tuntuev, who was serving his sentence in the case of a terror act, was accused of involvement in a criminal grouping, an attempt to assassinate a law enforcer, and of involvement in an attack on Pskov paratroopers in Chechnya in 2000.

At the first court hearing held in Rostov-on-Don on March 6, the court pronounced an indictment, and after that, the defendant pleaded not guilty.

"I do not admit my guilt, and I believe that the case has been fabricated," stated Ayub Tuntuev as quoted by the "Kommersant".
