Kadyrov reports five killed in armed clash near Tsotsi-Yurt

In the course of an armed clash in the outskirts of the village of Tsotsi-Yurt, four militants and one law enforcer were killed, the head of Chechnya has stated. A source from the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Chechnya has added that one militant managed to escape in the forest.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that special units of law enforcers were deployed in Tsotsi-Yurt. According to locals, all the exits from the village are blocked. According to power agents, 21 villagers have been detained.

Since the start of the operation in the Kurchaloi District, "several dozen militants and their helpers have been detained," said Kadyrov.

On the previous day, the head of Chechnya also announced the detention in Tsotsi-Yurt of young people who "had prepared a series of resonant grave crimes." According to his story, there are relatives of the field commander Isa Muskiev among the detainees.
