Law enforcers identify second suspect killed in Novolak District of Dagestan

The second man killed in a special operation carried out in the Novolak District of Dagestan has been identified as Magomed Sultanov, also known among the militants as Ibrakhim. This was reported by a source from the law enforcement bodies.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the evening of December 31, law enforcer cordoned off a house in one of the villages of the Novolak District. During the special operation, two suspected militants were killed, and two law enforcers were wounded. One of the killed men was identified as 28-year-old Anvar Gadjiev. Today, the counterterrorist (CTO) legal regime has been introduced within a part of the Novolak District. At 5:00 p.m. Moscow time, it was lifted.

"The second militant has been preliminary identified as Magomed Sultanov, born in 1989. He is a native of the village of Komsomolskoe of the Kizlyar District," reports a source from the regional law enforcement bodies as quoted by the RIA "Dagestan".

The source has also reported that the information on the wounded law enforces is to be confirmed. "According to the preliminary information, three law enforcers have got gunshot wounds, but it is not yet known exactly," said the source from the law enforcement bodies.
