Court in Makhachkala obliges MIA to remove journalist Magomedov from prophylactic registry (+video)

Magomed Magomedov, a former spokesman of the Salafi mosque in Makhachkala, has achieved his removal from the so-called "prophylactic registry", conducted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), in the category of "religious extremism". Today the court has upheld his lawsuit.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Magomed Magomedov, a journalist of the newspaper "Novoye Delo" and the former spokesman of the Salafi mosque located in Hungarian Warriors Street in Makhachkala, had filed a lawsuit demanding to remove him from the above prophylactic registry. The lawsuit was considered since November 16.

Let us remind you that Magomedov was put on the registry on May 11. He is suspected of illegal storage of firearms and narcotic drugs. Currently, the journalist is under house arrest.
